COCUS Composite Cord Strapping is a heavy-duty woven polyester strap often called 'soft steel'. It combines very high strength - 700kgf at 16mm and 850kgf at 19mm - with shock absorption and safe, edge-free handling, making it ideal for export loads, heavy bundling and awkward or shifting cargo.
Unlike steel or PET, composite cord is tensioned by hand using galvanised wire buckles, so there are no metal seals to crimp and no power tool to maintain - just a cord tensioner and buckles. It retains tension over long transit, taking up any slack as loads settle.
Choose 16mm for heavy general use or 19mm for the toughest loads. Pair with the matching wire buckles and composite tensioner.
