Shop AccessoriesWhere COCUS Leak Diverters Are Used
- Warehouses and industrial units with ageing or flat roofs prone to ingress during heavy rainfall.
- Server rooms and IT suites where overhead water ingress poses a critical risk to equipment.
- Retail and commercial premises where a visible ceiling leak above customers or stock requires immediate containment.
- Food production and catering environments where hygiene standards make uncontrolled water ingress a compliance issue.
How do COCUS Leak Diverter Kits work?
A COCUS Leak Diverter Kit consists of a large puncture-resistant polyethylene sheet that hangs from the ceiling around the leak source. Water is channelled by the sheet into a central collection point, from which a flexible hose directs the flow into a collection bucket placed on the floor below. The system keeps the floor dry and allows the building to continue operating while a permanent repair is arranged. Kits are quick to deploy — typically installable in under 10 minutes with no tools required. Browse our Leak Diverter Kits to find the right size for your span.
Maintaining and restocking your system
Leak Diverter sheets are reusable provided they remain undamaged. After use, sheets should be cleaned, dried, and stored flat or rolled for future deployment. Collection buckets should be emptied and checked for cracks after each use. If hoses or buckets are damaged or lost, individual replacements are available from our Buckets, Hoses & Accessories range so you don't need to replace the entire kit.
Frequently Asked Questions
How large an area can a COCUS Leak Diverter cover?
Kit coverage depends on the sheet size included in the kit. Our kits are available in different sheet dimensions to suit small localised leaks or wider areas of ingress. Check the individual product listing for sheet dimensions. For very large areas or multiple simultaneous leaks, more than one kit can be deployed side by side.
Can the sheet be attached to a suspended ceiling?
Yes. COCUS Leak Diverter sheets are designed to suspend from standard suspended ceiling grids using the included hanging points. For solid plaster or concrete ceilings, additional fixings (not included) will be required. Always ensure the ceiling structure can support the weight of a full collection bucket before directing water into it.
Are COCUS Leak Diverters suitable for outdoor use?
COCUS Leak Diverters are designed for indoor use to protect assets below a leaking roof or ceiling. They are not intended for outdoor water management. For outdoor spill and water management, see our Spill Control & Absorbents range.
How quickly can a Leak Diverter Kit be deployed?
Most installations take under 10 minutes. The sheet can be unrolled, suspended from ceiling fixings, and the hose connected to the bucket in a few straightforward steps. No specialist tools or training are required, making them suitable for facilities managers and maintenance staff to deploy as needed.
