Pro Tip: We recommend adding an extra 10% to both dimensions to allow for "reach" and to ensure there is enough material to secure the edges to your perimeter fixings without over-stretching the mesh.

A: Yes. Because it is a knotted net, it will not unravel. You can trim it to specific shapes around pipes or architectural features using sharp scissors.

Under normal UK weather conditions, our UV-stabilized polyethylene netting is expected to last 10+ years.

4. Will this netting withstand heavy snow or high winds?

Yes, the knotted construction is specifically designed to handle environmental stress. Because the twine is fine (approx. 1mm), it has a very low surface area, allowing high winds to pass through rather than "catching" the net like a sail. For snow, we recommend ensuring the net is installed with a slight slope or kept under high tension to allow snow to fall through the mesh or slide off, preventing excessive weight build-up.

5. Can this netting be used for ponds or water features?

Absolutely. Since our polyethylene twine is chemically inert and rot-proof, it will not degrade when exposed to water or submerged. It is an excellent solution for keeping birds away from fish stocks or preventing leaves and debris from entering the water, as it does not absorb moisture and will remain lightweight even when wet.
