Our Custom Made-to-Order Safety Nets allow you to specify the exact length and width needed to secure your site perfectly. This system is the preferred fall prevention method of the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) because it allows workers total freedom of movement, eliminating the restrictive nature of traditional harnesses and lanyards.

Each net is manufactured using knotless high-tenacity polypropylene, a material chosen for its incredible energy-absorption properties and soft-to-the-touch finish. Unlike knotted netting, our knotless design prevents the "friction burn" often associated with falls into safety nets. For maximum structural integrity, every net is finished with a heavy-duty 12mm polysteel border rope, reinforced edges, and individual net tags for traceability.

Certification Note for 100mm Mesh:

To comply with official certification standards, 100mm mesh nets must have a minimum width of 5m and a total area exceeding 35sqm. If your requirements fall below these dimensions, we recommend selecting a 45mm mesh option to ensure your installation remains fully certified.

1. Why choose knotless polypropylene over knotted netting?

Knotless netting is much more effective at absorbing the energy of a fall. Because there are no knots to tighten or shift under impact, the load is distributed more evenly across the fibers. Additionally, it is much kinder to the skin, significantly reducing the risk of abrasions.

2. Can I get a certified net for a small area?

Certification for 100mm mesh requires a minimum width of 5m and a total area of 35sqm. If you are working on a smaller project, you should select a 45mm mesh option, which allows for full certification on smaller square meterage.

3. How is the net finished at the edges?

Every custom net is finished with a 12mm polysteel border rope. This rope is threaded through the outer meshes to provide a high-strength perimeter that facilitates secure attachment to the structure's anchor points.

4. Is this netting suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The polypropylene is UV stabilised and weatherproof, meaning it will not degrade or lose its breaking strength when exposed to sunlight and rain over the course of a long-term construction project.

5. What information is on the net tags?

Each net is supplied with a tag that confirms compliance with EN 1263-1, the date of manufacture, the mesh size, and a unique serial number. This is essential for health and safety officers to verify that the equipment is fit for purpose during site audits.
