1. What size containers can the mobile units accommodate?
The shelves are adjustable, allowing users to optimize storage space. The two wider models (W.900) are suitable for standard commercial chemical containers, while the smaller, more compact model (W.350) is ideal for individual or personal quantities of smaller bottles and aerosols.
2. Do the castors lock, and how stable are the units when stationary?
Yes. The mobile cupboards are fitted with heavy-duty castors that include integrated brakes on at least two wheels. The brakes must be engaged when the cupboard is stationary, ensuring it remains stable and secure while in use or long-term storage.
3. Can I remove the castors and use this as a static cupboard?
While the castors are permanently fixed for mobility, all models include the fully welded steel structure and base required for static storage. If placed in one location, engaging the brakes makes them functionally static, though we recommend purchasing a non-mobile unit if no portability is required.
4. How does the mobile design prevent spillage during transport?
The design addresses transit safety in two ways: (1) The integral liquid-tight sump at the base contains any leakage from containers. (2) The spill-retaining lips on the adjustable shelves help prevent containers from sliding and tipping over while the unit is being wheeled across uneven floors.
5. Are the smallest models (H.700) suitable for mounting?
The smallest model (H.700) is designed primarily as a compact floor/mobile unit. For wall mounting, we recommend verifying the cabinet's weight capacity and securing it with appropriate fixings, though dedicated wall-mounted versions are generally available for permanent elevation.
