Heavy-duty steel hook pins formed from solid 12mm high-tensile ribbed reinforcing bar - far stronger than a standard ground pin, so they drive into firm and stony ground without bending. Each pin is 300mm long with a pointed driving end and a hooked head, ideal for anchoring and holding down road forms, timber, sheeting, ducting and temporary fencing on site. Sold in multipacks of 10, 25, 50 and 100.

Our Steel Hook Pins are formed from 12mm high-tensile ribbed reinforcing bar, giving you a genuinely heavy-duty anchoring pin for site work. Each pin is 300mm long with one end drawn to a point so it drives easily into firm ground, and the other end bent into a hook to grip whatever you need to hold down.

The ribbed rebar profile bites into the ground and resists pull-out far better than a smooth pin, making these ideal for securing road forms and formwork, pinning down timber shuttering, anchoring temporary fencing and Heras panels, holding sheeting and membranes in place, and general ground anchoring around site.

Supplied in a mill finish, so some pins may show light surface rust - this is purely cosmetic and does not affect the strength or performance of the steel. Available in multipacks of 10, 25, 50 and 100 to suit the size of the job.

1. What are hook pins used for?

They anchor and hold down road forms, timber, sheeting, ducting and temporary fencing - the pointed end drives into the ground and the hook grips the item being secured.

2. What are they made from?

12mm high-tensile ribbed reinforcing bar (rebar), 300mm long, so they are strong and resist pull-out.

3. Are the pins pointed?

Yes - the H12mm hook pin has one end drawn to a point so it drives easily into firm ground.

4. What pack sizes are available?

Multipacks of 10, 25, 50 and 100.

5. Why do some pins show surface rust?

They are supplied in a mill finish, so light surface rust can appear. It is cosmetic only and does not affect the strength or performance of the steel.
