The COCUS Window Protection Film is an essential safeguard for any construction or decorating project. Windows and glazed panels are among the most expensive items to replace if damaged by grit, cement, or paint. Our specialized film acts as a "second skin," shielding these vulnerable surfaces from the inevitable mess of a busy job site.

Engineered with a pressure-sensitive, low-tack acrylic adhesive, the film is "forward wound" on the roll, making it incredibly easy to apply by hand or with an applicator. Unlike standard tapes or cheap plastic wraps, COCUS film is UV-stabilized, meaning it can be used on both internal and external windows for up to 45 days without the sun "baking" the adhesive onto the glass. Whether you are a professional contractor or a DIY enthusiast, this film ensures a professional handover with zero cleanup time.

Available Sizes: 600mm x 100m

Available Colours: Blue Tint (High Visibility) or Clear.

Material: Heavy-duty LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene).

Adhesive Type: Low-tack, pressure-sensitive acrylic.

UV Protection: UV-stabilized for internal and external use.

Waterproof: 100% moisture and spill resistant.

1. How long can I leave the film on the windows?

COCUS Window Protection Film is designed for temporary use. We recommend removing and replacing the film every 45 days to ensure the easiest removal and to prevent any adhesive transfer.

2. Can this be used on self-cleaning glass?

No. We do not recommend using any adhesive protection film on "self-cleaning" or specially coated "active" glass, as the adhesive may interfere with the glass's chemical properties.

3. Does the "Blue Tint" change the light in the room?

The blue tint provides a slight cool hue, but its primary purpose is visibility. It makes it very easy to see exactly where the film has been applied and ensures the windows are not accidentally left unprotected.

4. Will it stick to the window frames as well as the glass?

Yes, it adheres well to PVC, aluminum, and finished timber frames. We recommend a small "test patch" on a hidden area of the frame if you are unsure of the surface finish.

5. Is it difficult to remove?

Not at all. Simply find a corner and pull. The film is designed to come off in large sheets without tearing into small, frustrating pieces, leaving the glass beneath perfectly clean.
