1. How long can I leave the film on the windows?
COCUS Window Protection Film is designed for temporary use. We recommend removing and replacing the film every 45 days to ensure the easiest removal and to prevent any adhesive transfer.
2. Can this be used on self-cleaning glass?
No. We do not recommend using any adhesive protection film on "self-cleaning" or specially coated "active" glass, as the adhesive may interfere with the glass's chemical properties.
3. Does the "Blue Tint" change the light in the room?
The blue tint provides a slight cool hue, but its primary purpose is visibility. It makes it very easy to see exactly where the film has been applied and ensures the windows are not accidentally left unprotected.
4. Will it stick to the window frames as well as the glass?
Yes, it adheres well to PVC, aluminum, and finished timber frames. We recommend a small "test patch" on a hidden area of the frame if you are unsure of the surface finish.
5. Is it difficult to remove?
Not at all. Simply find a corner and pull. The film is designed to come off in large sheets without tearing into small, frustrating pieces, leaving the glass beneath perfectly clean.
