Plastic line spacers provide continuous, stable support for steel reinforcement while guaranteeing consistent concrete cover across the whole slab. The U-shaped profile sits beneath bottom reinforcement in suspended and ground-bearing slabs, holding the bar at the correct height so the specified cover is achieved reliably along the full length of every run.
Supplied in 2m strips, the linear design eliminates the tendency for reinforcement to sag between individual spacers and makes any inconsistency in the rebar cage easy to spot on site. The arched cut-out detailing allows concrete to flow freely around and through the spacer, avoiding voids and giving a clean finish - a particular advantage on exposed concrete faces and when working on metal decking.
Available in six cover depths from 15mm to 50mm, the correct spacer can be matched to the cover requirement of the slab. Simply position the spacer beneath the reinforcement and secure it with tying wire to keep it in place during the pour, doubling up fixings in areas subject to the most pressure from the concrete pump.

1. What cover depths are available?
Six cover depths are available: 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 50mm, so you can match the spacer to the concrete cover specified for your slab.
2. How many strips are in a pack?
The 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm sizes are supplied in packs of 50 strips. The 35mm and 50mm sizes are supplied in packs of 30 strips. Every strip is 2 metres long.
3. Are these suitable for use on metal decking?
Yes. The continuous line spacer is particularly suited to metal decking, giving stable, even support to bottom reinforcement while allowing concrete to flow freely.
4. How are the spacers fixed in place?
Position the spacer beneath the reinforcement and secure it with tying wire. Double up the fixings in areas where the concrete pump is likely to apply the most pressure to keep everything in place during the pour.
